The freedom to move around the Verita office creates pockets of teamwork, experimentation, and creativity. Work is not restricted to a fixed location, and ideas can be shared more easily between otherwise isolated departments. The space is designed with open-plan workstations and a fun and colorful ambiance for a better collaborative working experience.
Digital Hub is a design concept applied to Verita Informatika, a proven IT solution company for finance, telecommunications, and government in intelligence and cybersecurity fields. The designer, Annisa Paramadina, creates an agile workspace that supports a flexible work environment and collaborative space for employees.
As the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated digital transformation and shaped the future of work, Verita became one of the example companies in applying a flexible work culture. Transitioning to an agile office layout allows Verita to reduce costs by repurposing or cutting down on unused floor space.
The utilization of video conferencing and project management technology allows Verita to manage the workspace with more flexible arrangements, connecting people in the office and remote areas. The industrial elements, such as exposed bricks, cement, open ceilings, and spotlights, create a modern and vibrant atmosphere.
Meeting rooms are provided for private discussions, while smaller meeting rooms serve as quiet zones designed to promote privacy and concentration. In the corner, a breakout space is provided as the most informal part of the agile workspace, where employees can grab a bite to eat or relax with colleagues. This breakout space also serves as a functional area for laid-back meetings with clients.
The Verita Informatika Office, located at TCC Batavia Tower One 30th floor in Jakarta, spans a total net space of 545sqm and has a capacity of 70 staff members. The design project took place from April 23, 2021, to August 23, 2021.
Through the concept of Digital Hub, the designer creates a collaborative working space with vibrant elements and a semi-industrial style. It is inspired by the need for a comfortable working space that supports flexibility for collaborative working and productivity.
From the initial space requirement discussion, Verita identified an opportunity to reduce real estate costs by applying a flexible work culture. The challenge was to create a flexible workspace that also supports highly productive workplace arrangements. The Digital Hub design successfully overcame this challenge.
The Digital Hub design at Verita Informatika has been recognized for its excellence. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2022 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Digital Hub design is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
